Garden Terrace Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence in Aurora offers a number of services for the comfort and convenience of our residents. These services include:
- Interdisciplinary team approach with an individualized treatment program
- Physical, occupational, speech and respiratory therapies six days a week
- Five unique specialty units for those in different stages of Alzheimer’s
- Short-term medical subacute rehabilitation care for:
- Alzheimer’s disease, vascular dementia, Lewy body dementia (dementia)
- Fractures, dislocations, joint replacement and amputation (orthopedic)
- Parkinson’s disease, CVAs, head injuries and Multiple Sclerosis (neurological)
- Respiratory, gastrointestinal and wound care, cancer and pain (medical conditions)
- Long-term care
- Respite care
- Behavior management
- Medication management
- Inpatient rehabilitation
- Outpatient rehabilitation
- Dental/podiatry/ophthalmology and hearing services
